Best Practices

Children’s daily routines follow and celebrate seasonal rythmns. 
Fall and winter focus on indoor activities including arts and crafts, cooking and baking and movement and music and also include outdoor play.

Spring, Summer and increasing daylight find the children spending more time playing outdoors and planting and caring for the three gardens.
We value organic gardening and have a vegetable, herb and Zen garden.

Other regular activities include T’ai Chi chuan, Yoga, Nature walks, free play, Story time and puppet theatre, Hands - on science lessons, birthday celebrations, and visits with elders and Community leaders
